If anything goes even slightly wrong, there isn’t enough pressure to push the pop up heads properly. One zone has 120 heads on it. We have identified a handful of valves that have begun to develop mineral deposits that have affected their function and thus dry out the lawns. Now that this has been identified, some of the worst lawns are coming back strong.
A&B has been doing extensive brush clearing at the north side of the gulch. The fire break is about 15 feet back from the fence now. Monsanto says that they should be clearing the keawe behind the townhomes next month.
The landscaping crew will be trying a new herbicide in the pohinahina that will only kill the cane grass and leave the shrub intact. If this works, it will really expedite the upkeep of those particular hedges.
Pet Poop Problem
Irresponsible pet owners and walkers remain a problem at Kamalani. We are receiving numerous complaints from residents that wake up to dog poop in front of their home. If you see this occurring, please take a picture and send it to Sean @ 808-793-7007 or kamalanisitemanager@gmail.com so the animal owner can be addressed.

Owners are required to have a current HO6 homeowners policy to cover the deductible of the condominium’s master insurance policy.
