On average each female coqui will produce 1,500 eggs every year ! (Only the male frogs make the call, female frogs are silent). A coqui frog infestation causes loss of sleep, and a potential steep drop in property values. State law requires that any property seller disclose to buyers that their area has coqui frogs. It is relatively easy to remove one or two coqui frogs. It is very difficult but possible to remove 20 frogs but if we end up with 500 frogs our long term future will be very noisy as their elimination is impossible.
